Pop-up selfie cameras have suddenly become the in-thing lately. Everyone seems to be doing them – right from Oppo to OnePlus, and Xiaomi is set to join the bandwagon soon with the Redmi K20. Vivo was one the first companies to launch a phone with a pop-up selfie camera in India – the phone in question was called the V15 Pro. Vivo quickly followed it up with an even more affordable pop-up selfie camera phone called the V15. Launched in India at a price of Rs 23,990, the Vivo V15 has just received its second price cut making it the most affordable phone with pop-up selfie camera in India.

The Vivo V15, as mentioned earlier, was launched in India at a price of Rs 23,990. Only recently, it received a price cut of Rs 2,000 bringing the price of the phone down to Rs 21,990. On Friday, Vivo announced another Rs 2,000 price cut on the V15 further bringing the price of the phone down to Rs 19,990. And at Rs 19,990, the Vivo V15 is now the most affordable phone with a pop-up selfie camera in India.

The Vivo V15 shares the design of the V15 Pro, including its 32MP pop-up selfie camera. But it swaps the Pro’s 48MP primary rear camera for a 12MP shooter – the other two cameras in the triple camera setup are the same as the V15 Pro though, which means the Vivo V15 also comes with a secondary wide-angle 8MP and another 5MP sensor for depth sensing aka portrait photography.

Unlike the Vivo V15 Pro, the Vivo V15 is powered by a MediaTek Helio P70 processor paired with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage which is also expandable.

The Vivo V15 comes with a 6.53-inch 1080p+ LCD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 and uses a 4,000mAh battery with micro-USB charging (fast charging is supported). Software inside is Android Pie-based FunTouch OS 9.

Unlike the Vivo V15 Pro that has an in-display fingerprint scanner, the Vivo V15 has a conventional fingerprint scanner on the back.

The Vivo V15 is available for buying from the company’s own e-store, Amazon India, Flipkart, PayTm Mall, Tata CLiQ and all offline channels across the country in Glamour Red, Frozen Black and Royal Blue colour options.
