Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro will go on sale in India for the first time on November 23 as part of the Black Friday Sale. The launch of the device is scheduled for November 22. Last week, Xiaomi unveiled its Redmi Note 6 Pro in China. Much like its predecessor, the Redmi Note 6 Pro is expected in India with multiple storage configurations to choose from.

Folks over at Xiaomi India have pushed out social media teasers with a hashtag #Super3 saying that they have a total of three surprises to share with their fans. However, Xiaomi’s India chief and global vice president Manu Kumar Jain later confirmed that one of the surprises was indeed the news about the Redmi Note 6 Pro’s arrival in India next week. Xiaomi India will reveal their second surprise tomorrow afternoon whereas we will come to know about their third and final surprise on Tuesday (November 20).

Since Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro is already available in China, we know pretty much everything that the phone has to offer. However, we don’t know for sure if Xiaomi India will stick to the same specifications or introduce the entirely new model with the same branding. As we speculated in our earlier story, Xiaomi may be keeping the branding confusion at bay between two of its biggest markets: China and India.

On numerous occasions in the past, Xiaomi unveiled some phone originally in China and then re-launched it to India with a whole different branding. For example, Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 was, in fact, a rebranded Redmi 5 Plus from the Chinese market. Similarly, Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, which was originally announced in India, relaunched as the Redmi Note 5 in the Chinese market. Hence, even though Xiaomi is sticking to the same branding this time around, there is no clarity at the moment if it also applies to the phone’s specs.

From the teaser image, it is clear that Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro sports a notched display similar to China’s Redmi Note 6 Pro. It has 20MP+2MP dual rear cameras and 12MP+5MP dual selfie cameras. Inside is Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC like the Redmi Note 5 Pro. It has two memory configurations: 3GB RAM with 32GB storage and 4GB RAM with 64GB expandable storage. Up front is a 6.26-inch 1080p screen whereas internally, it packs a 4,000mAh battery.
