However, USP of this plan is that users also get unlimited voice calling in both home as well as roaming networks; this initiative also includes unlimited free video calling in BSNL home network and roaming areas.

As far as validity of the BSNL new INR 78 plan is concerned, prepaid users would be able to use the above benefits for 10 days; currently, the BSNL prepaid recharge portal has listed the tariff plan as available which means that prepaid users should now be able to recharge for INR 78 and experience free unlimited calls along with 2GB data per day.

Post the 2GB data usage (in a day), internet speeds would be reduced to 80 Kbps. This offer is seemingly active across at least 20 telecom circles of BSNL. As of now, BSNL is said to be working intensively on rolling out 5G networks to coincide with the global rollout of the new standard. This is rumoured to take place either towards the later half of 2019 or 2020. Major names in consumer technology are also believed (by enthusiasts) to be working on rolling out their respective 5G offerings roughly at the same time as that of the believed 5G rollout.
