After revealing the ‘just black’ variant of the Google Pixel 4, serial tipster Evan Blass has shared what seems to be the ‘oh so orange’ colourway of the phone in question on social media. This new render, shared by the tipster, shows off the device from the front and the back, as well as from the sides. The ‘oh so orange’ Pixel 4 will apparently have a subtle hue of orange on the back with a black frame on the outside. The power button will be light pink, according to the render.

Let’s recap that design one more time, even though we’ve seen it a gazillion times now. On the front the phone is seen with slim bezels on three sides and a sizeable forehead housing the selfie camera and quite possibly the Soli tech that is said to bring Motion Sense technology in the upcoming Pixel phones. On the rear the phone is seen with a squared-out camera array with two sensors and flash. A physical fingerprint scanner isn’t seen which means we’re either looking at an in-display solution or advanced face unlock. The power button and volume rocker are on the right while the SIM slot is on the left.

Google’s has had a hard time keeping its Pixel phones a secret and this year’s Pixel 4 is no different. So it seems.

Pixel 4 launch set for October 15

Google is gearing to launch the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL phones on October 15 in New York City. The invite and the YouTube livestream (that’s already live with the countdown to D-day) tease “a few new things made by Google” and while the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL will surely make an appearance, there could be more hardware announcements.

The Pixel 4 will be the main attraction of course. Google has already confirmed the design schematics of the phone revealing that the Pixel 4 will come with dual rear cameras. There will also be some new never-seen-before tech here courtesy Google’s Soli radar chip for motion sensing and advanced face unlock among other things.
