Huawei P30 Lite with triple rear cameras, 32MP selfie shooter launched in India: Specs, features and everything to know

Huawei launched the flagship P30 Pro in India on Tuesday – the company also launched the mid-tier P30 Lite alongside which tries to offer some of the premium features of the P30 Pro at a relatively more affordable price tag. The P30 Lite has been launched in India at a starting price of Rs 19,990 for the version with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage and it will be available for buying from Amazon India and Croma stores. 

As mentioned earlier, the P30 Lite is an affordable mid-tier phone. It comes with a gradient design, a waterdrop-style notch (same as the P30 Pro) and a conventional fingerprint scanner on the back – it has three rear cameras and a 32MP front camera (same as the P30 Pro).   

Its triple rear cameras are again the main highlight here – similar to how the quad cameras are a main USP of the P30 Pro. The P30 Lite triple rear camera setup consists of a primary 24MP main sensor (paired with f/1.8 lens), an 8MP ultra-wide sensor and a 2MP sensor for depth sensing aka portrait photography.  

In terms of core hardware, the P30 Lite comes with a 6.15-inch 1080p+ IPS LCD display and a Kirin 710 processor under the hood. It comes with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage (expandable via micro-SD) and runs Android 9 Pie-based EMUI 9.1. The phone further uses a 3,340mAh battery with 18W fast charging. 

Huawei P30 Lite India price and availability 

Huawei has launched the P30 Pro in India at a starting price of Rs 19,990 for the version with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage, going all the way to Rs 22,990 for the top-end version with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. The P30 Lite will be available for buying from Amazon India (online) and Croma stores (offline). 

Clearly, the P30 Lite is a budget phone when compared with something like the P30 Pro. Huawei has launched the P30 Pro in India with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage at a price of Rs 71,990.
