iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro in high demand, says analyst 

Apple’s 2019 iPhones, aka iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max, maybe off to a great start if Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo is anything to go by. The demand for the iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max, are "significantly stronger" compared to their immediate predecessors – as far as pre-order stats in the US are concerned – according to Kuo. The iPhone 11 lineup will be available for buying in India from September 27. 

Apple, as has become customary now, has launched the new iPhones in new colors - the iPhone 11 will be available in purple, green, yellow, black, white and PRODUCT(RED) while the Phone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max will be available in midnight green, space gray, silver and gold colors. The iPhone 11 in green and purple, and the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max in midnight green, have seemingly become fan favorites – meaning, they are in greater demand. The midnight green iPhone Pro models supply maybe constrained due to production issues, Kuo says.  

Kuo further believes that demand for the more expensive iPhone 11 Pro will be higher in the US while the more affordable iPhone 11 should do well in China.  

The iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro Max and iPhone 11 Pro Max may not look like huge upgrades over last year’s iPhone XR, iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max but there’s a very big change in how Apple goes about selling its next-generation iPhones in India this year. While the iPhone is still an expensive proposition to get in India, the iPhone lineup is a little more aggressively priced than last year’s iPhone XR, iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max. This is especially true for the iPhone 11. 

iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone 11 Pro Max India prices

The iPhone 11 has been launched in India at a starting price of Rs 64,900 for the base model with 64GB storage going all the way to Rs 79,900 for the top end model with 512GB storage. The iPhone 11 Pro has been launched in India at Rs 99,900 for the base model with 64GB storage while the top end model of the phone with 512GB storage will cost Rs 1,31,900. The iPhone 11 Pro Max meanwhile will start at Rs 1,09,900 (64GB) going all the way to Rs 1,41,900 (512GB).
