JioPhone 2 flash sale today: Price, features and specifications

Reliance’s flagship feature phone - JioPhone 2 - will be up for grabs on sale today via Jio’s official website. JioPhone 2 flash sale starts today at 12PM. JioPhone 2 is priced at Rs 2,999, and as part of today’s flash sale, interested JioPhone 2 customers can avail cashback offer by Paytm. Paytm will offer Rs 300 cashback to those purchasing the JioPhone 2. 

Thanks to this Paytm cashback offer, JioPhone 2 will be available at an effective price of Rs 2,699. Customers can make use of this additional cash back to shop on Paytm or make payment transactions using their Paytm wallet money. This is pretty much similar to what Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Jio has in store during JioPhone 2 festive sale for interested customers.

In a nutshell, the JioPhone 2 sports 320 x 240 pixels QVGA resolution stretched all the way across a small, 2.4-inch panel. But if we compare it with last year’s JioPhone, it’s aligned vertically, unlike the original JioPhone. Both the original JioPhone and JioPhone 2 run the Kai OS software with a certain number of apps available to download.

The key highlight of JioPhone 2, the handset supports 22 local languages including Hindi, Marathi, Bengali and Gujarati. The phone has a number of preinstalled out of the box such as  Jio Music, Jio TV, Google Assistant, Facebook etc. It supports a few JioPhone-exclusive plans with a validity of 28 days: Jio Rs 49, Jio Rs 99 and Jio Rs 153.

JioPhone 2 also flaunts full sized qwerty keypad, in addition to 512MB RAM and 4GB expandable storage under the hood. The standard set of connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, VoWiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and NFC. It also supports FM radio and WhatsApp.
