Days after launching the Motorola One Vision and Motorola One Action, Lenovo-owned Motorola has launched yet another affordable mid-ranger, the Motorola One Zoom. As the name suggests, the Motorola One Zoom, is a lot about the cameras – the Motorola One Zoom has four cameras in all on the rear. That’s the most for any Motorola phone to date. But there’s more to the Motorola One Zoom than just the cameras. There are some interesting specs as well. And did I tell you, this one also has a glowing Motorola batwing logo on the back?

Motorola may not have a high-profile flagship to its name, but it’s been churning out affordable mid-rangers for a while now – capable mid-rangers. The Motorola One Vision came as a breath of fresh air, and the Motorola One Zoom also looks exciting, especially on paper. One of the things that Motorola has done well is sticking to Android One, which means most of its new-age phones come with stock Android software – with a few Moto enhancements that have proven to be very useful. The Motorola One Zoom is no different.

The phone has a glass and aluminum design – Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on the back and 6000-series aluminum on the sides. There’s no physical fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication – instead the Motorola One Zoom has an in-display fingerprint scanner. There’s also a P2i nano-coating, which makes the phone resistant to accidental splashes.

Motorola One Zoom specs and features

Speaking of specs, the Motorola One Zoom has a 6.4-inch OLED display with a 1080p+ resolution. The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 processor paired with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage which is also expandable via a dedicated micro-SD card slot. It further packs a 4,000mAh battery with support for 15W fast charging through USB Type-C.

On to the cameras, the Motorola One Zoom has four cameras on the rear – a 48MP main camera with OIS, an 8MP telephoto camera for 3x optical zoom with OIS, a 16MP ultra-wide camera with 117-degree field-of-view, and a 5MP depth sensor. On the front, the Motorola One Zoom has a 25MP camera.

Motorola One Zoom price and availability

The Motorola One Zoom has been launched at a price of Euros 400 (roughly Rs 32,000) for the variant with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage. The phone is now available for buying in select markets in Europe and the US.
