The Nokia 3.1 Plus mid-range smartphones are now finally receiving the Android 9.0 (Pie) OS update. If you are a user of the phone, do check your handsets on a regular basis for notifications updating the newer updates.

Nokia’s very own Juho Sarvikas has tweeted out confirming the development. This means that users of the Nokia 3.1 Plus could get to check out the Digital Wellbeing feature that should do well to add potential to in-phone navigation and user interface (UI).

This development should also add substance to the newer buyers who could get to check out Android Pie update comparatively early upon purchasing. For the uninitiated, the Nokia 3.1 Plus comes with key technical specifications such as:

  • 6-inch display offering resolutions of 720 x 1440 pixels
  • Android One operating system as an OS update; driven by Android 8.1 (Oreo) out of the box
  • Octa-core MediaTek MT6762 processor
  • Dual SIM-card compatibility
  • 13MP + 5MP dual rear snappers
  • 8MP front camera
  • 3GB RAM edition
  • 32GB internal storage offered
  • MicroSD card slot for expansion of  internal storage up to 400 GB
  • LTE, HSPA, Bluetooth 4.1, micro USB 2.0 connectivity
  • 3500 mAh Lithium-Ion battery.

At this point in time, the Nokia 3.1 Plus had had its price reduced online, on major e-tailers Amazon and Flipkart. The smartphone was available for Rs 9900 - representing a near Rs 2000 discount from its original pricing of Rs 11500.

In related Nokia updates, the Nokia 9 PureView launched at the recent Mobile World Congress (MWC 2019) comes with 5 rear cameras which is seemingly one amongst the initial design adapters in the modern premium smartphones segment. The 5 rear camera setup, is undoubtedly eye-catchy but there is more than meets the eye in the smartphone. Click here to check these minute nuances out.
