Nokia 6.1 Plus, Nokia 2.1, Nokia 1 get price cut in India

HMD Global has slashed the prices of the Nokia 6.1 Plus, Nokia 2.1 and Nokia 1 in India

HMD Global has slashed the prices of the Nokia 6.1 Plus, Nokia 2.1 and Nokia 1 in India. The Nokia 1 which was launched in India at Rs 5,499 will now sell for Rs 3,999, the Nokia 2.1 which was launched at Rs 6,999 will now sell for Rs 5,499, and the Nokia 6.1 Plus (6GB/64GB) which was launched at Rs 18,499 will now sell for Rs 16,999. The discounted prices will be effective across online and offline sales channels.  

The Nokia 6.1 Plus has a glass body with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection on the front as well as on the back. It comes with a 5.8-inch 1080p+ display with an iPhone X-style notch, and an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor paired with up to 6GB RAM and up to 64GB storage which is expandable. The dual-SIM Nokia 6.1 Plus runs Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the box and is upgradable to Android Pie software. The Nokia 6.1 Plus packs a 3,060mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging.  

On to the cameras, the Nokia 6.1 Plus has a dual camera system on the rear consisting of one 16MP sensor and another 5MP sensor for portrait photography. On the front, the Nokia 6.1 Plus comes with a 16MP camera. 

The Nokia 2.1 has a plastic body with a metal frame. It comes with a conventional 5.85-inch 720p display, and a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor paired with 1GB RAM and 8GB storage which is expandable. The dual-SIM Nokia 2.1 runs Android 8.1 Oreo Go Edition out-of-the box and is upgradable to Android Pie Go Edition software. The Nokia 2.1 packs a 4,0000mAh battery and stereo speakers. 

On to the cameras, the Nokia 2.1 has an 8MP camera on the rear and a 5MP camera on the front. 

Lastly, the Nokia 1 has a plastic body with a swappable back cover. It comes with a conventional 4.5-inch display with a 480 x 854 pixel resolution, and a quad-core MediaTek MT6737M processor paired with 1GB RAM and 8GB storage which is expandable. The dual-SIM Nokia 1 runs Android 8.1 Oreo Go Edition out-of-the box and is upgradable to Android Pie Go Edition software. The Nokia 1 packs a 2,150mAh battery. 

On to the cameras, the Nokia 1 has a 5MP camera on the rear and a 2MP camera on the front.
