Nubia Red Magic 3s gaming phone with Snapdragon 855+ launched in India

ZTE offshoot brand Nubia launched the Red Magic 3s gaming phone in India. The Red Magic 3s is a high-end gaming phone with an AMOLED screen with a 90Hz refresh rate, a Qualcomm ‘s top-of-the-line Snapdragon 855+ processor with up to 12GB RAM, a 5,000mAh battery, and an actual fan inside for cooling. The Red Magic 3s has been launched in India at a starting price of Rs 35,999 for the base variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage going all the way to Rs 47,999 for the top-end variant with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. The Nubia Red Magic 3s will be available for buying in India from October 21 from Flipkart.

Speaking of specs, the Nubia Red Magic 3s comes with a 6.65-inch 1080p AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch refresh rate – without a notch or display cutout. The hone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 855+ processor paired with up to 12GB RAM and up to 256GB storage.  

The Red Magic 3s packs stereo speakers and 4D customizable vibrations for enhanced gaming audio experiences. There’s also ICE liquid cooling as well as an actual fan – a first for any smartphone. 

The Red Magic 3s also has a massive 5,000mAh battery with 27W fast charging support. The Red Magic 3s has a single camera on the rear – which is a 48MP (Sony IMX586) sensor with f/1.7 aperture. This camera is capable of recording 8K videos as well as 1920fps super-slow-motion videos. On the front, it has a 16MP camera.  

The Red Magic 3s will be available for buying in two configurations. While the base variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage has been launched at Rs 35,999, the top-end variant with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage will cost you Rs 47,999. While the base model will come in Mecha Silver, the top-end model will come in Cyber Shade colour. The Red Magic 3s will be available for buying from Flipkart from October 21. 

The Red Magic 3s will compete with phones like the Asus ROG Phone II. For some perspective, Asus has launched the ROG Phone II in India at a starting price of Rs 37,999 for the base variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage going all the way to Rs 59,999 for the top-end variant with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage.
