OnePlus 6T McLaren special edition smartphone arriving in India next week

OnePlus 6T starts at Rs 37,999 for the base variant with 6GB of RAM and goes all the way up to Rs 45,999 for 256GB storage. However, OnePlus 6T McLaren edition is highly likely to retain 256GB storage variant. There’s a middle variant as well with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage for Rs 41,999.

To celebrate its 5th anniversary, OnePlus has geared up to launch its OnePlus 6T McLaren edition in India on December 12. Last week, OnePlus announced its partnership with Mclaren, a British Formula One team.

Now ahead of the official unveiling of a OnePlus 6T McLaren special edition, Amazon has made its pre-registration page live on its website, confirming the arrival of OnePlus’ upcoming special edition of its existing flagship smartphone.

Not so long ago, OnePlus introduced OnePlus 6T Thunder Purple edition in India starting at Rs 37,999. Going forward, OnePlus will soon have yet another limited edition OnePlus 6T up its sleeves. Cost is expected to remain the same nonetheless.

OnePlus 6T has more or less everything that’s expected in a flagship smartphone. It’s powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset coupled with Adreno 630 GPU for graphics. It packs 3,700mAh battery under the hood, which is bigger than that of OnePlus 6. OnePlus 6T has a new, waterdrop notch above the display, in addition to an in-display fingerprint reader.

OnePlus 6T is powered by Qualcomm’s top-of-the-line Snapdragon 845 chipset coupled with Adreno 630 GPU for graphics. Up front, there’s a 6.41-inch 1080p screen. As for the shutterbugs, one gets 16MP+20MP dual rear cameras and a 16MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls.
