The Realme 3, which has been rumoured to be on the cards and apparently slated to be released during the first quarter of 2019, could now come even earlier than expected. The purported next-gen smartphone from the Oppo spinoff-brand has been officially teased again on social media and gauging the teaser, it is only evident that it is now about time before the Realme 3 comes to the fore.

Now, Realme has teased an official Twitter post with the tagline “Let’s see if you can put 1 and 2 together.” There is also an alternate text in the image teased by this Twitter post that asks people to figure out what “Realme 1 + 2 is?” There is also another “question” posed at people, asking to figure out whether the “Realme 1 + 2 is?” “Simple Maths” or “Something Big”.

Check out the teaser below:

Gauging the tweet, it is evident that there would be a smartphone; possibly with the nomenclature 3 attached to its name. In this scenario, it is only natural for Realme loyalists to associate this device with the purported Realme 3 which is expected to be launched officially in 2019.

Also, the above tweet seems to be a potential indicator about the impending launch of the Realme 3. Remember that the affordable smartphones segment in India recently received a much-needed shot-in-the-arm in the form of Samsung Galaxy M series that consists of two smartphones - the Galaxy M10, Galaxy M20 both of which are priced below Rs 15000. Prior to this, there was the Realme 2 priced at Rs 10000 and a Pro variant of the phone having a sub-Rs 15K price tag. Hence, it is now all about affordable smartphones in the Indian scheme of things.

Here, Realme had recently stated that it managed to sell a staggering 20 lakh Redmi phones in under 5 months of being launched in India. Hence, it only makes sense for Realme 3 to hit the fore at the earliest considering that the competition amongst major brands is all set to again intensify in the Indian budget phones segment.
