Samsung Galaxy A20s launched with triple cameras, 4,000mAh battery

Samsung has silently launched the Galaxy A20s in international markets. The Galaxy A20s doesn’t come as a surprise though since Samsung has already launched “s’ upgrades of the A50 and A30 in markets like India – these are mid-cycle upgrades of the Galaxy A50 and Galaxy A30 respectively and not necessarily next-generation upgrades. 

Samsung Galaxy A20s specs and features

Speaking of the Galaxy A20s, the phone comes with a 6.5-inch Infinity-V notch with a 720p+ resolution. The phone is powered by a 1.8Ghz octa-core processor (unspecified) paired with up to 4GB RAM and up to 64GB storage which is also expandable. There’s rear-mounted fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication (unlike the Galaxy A50s and A30s that come with an in-display reader) and a 4,000mAh battery powering the whole thing. The Galaxy A20s further comes with a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 13MP main camera, an 8MP ultra wide-angle camera and a dedicated 5MP depth sensor. On the front, the Galaxy A20s has an 8MP camera. 

Samsung hasn’t revealed pricing and availability details of the Galaxy A20s just yet – it has confirmed that the phone will come in two variants, 3GB/32GB and 4GB/64GB. 

Samsung Galaxy A50s, Galaxy A30s

In related news, Samsung launched the Galaxy A50s and Galaxy A30s in India recently. The Galaxy A50s, which is the more premier of the two, comes with a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display with an Infinity-U notch and 1080p+ resolution, and an Exynos 9611 processor paired with up to 6GB RAM and up to 128GB storage. There’s an in-display fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication and a 4,000mAh battery under the hood with 15W fast charging through USB Type-C. In terms of optics, the Galaxy A50s has a triple camera setup on the rear consisting of a 48MP main camera, an 8MP ultra wide-angle camera and a dedicated 5MP depth sensor. On the front, the Galaxy A50s comes with a 32MP camera. 

The Galaxy A30s meanwhile has a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display with an Infinity-V notch and 720p+ resolution, and an Exynos 7904 processor paired with up to 4GB RAM and up to 128GB storage. The Galaxy A30s further comes with a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 25MP main camera, an 8MP ultra wide-angle camera and a dedicated 5MP depth sensor. On the front, the Galaxy A30s has a 16MP camera. There’s a 4,000mAh battery driving the whole thing with 15W fast charging, just like the Galaxy A50s. 

While the Galaxy A50s starts at Rs 22,999, the Galaxy A30s will be available in India at a starting price of Rs 16,999.
