Samsung is gearing to launch the Galaxy M30s in India on September 18 and it has also revealed what the phone will look like alongside a few key specs. Full specs of the alleged Galaxy M30s have now leaked online courtesy serial tipster Ishan Agarwal, and going by his track record, this could well be it. As for confirmed specs, we already know that the Galaxy M30s will come with a ginormous 6,000mAh and an Infinity U notch atop a Super AMOLED display panel. On the back there will be triple cameras and a physical fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication. By the looks of it, the Galaxy M30s is all set to become the first affordable M-series phone to come with a 48MP main camera.

As per the fresh leak, the Galaxy M30s will come with a 6.4-inch 1080p+ Super AMOLED display. The phone will reportedly be available in two variants – 4GB/64GB and 6GB/128GB. Software inside would unsurprisingly be Android 9 Pie-based OneUI. The triple camera setup on the rear is said to consist of a 48MP main camera, an 8MP super wide-angle camera and a 5MP camera (likely a depth sensor). On the front, the Galaxy M30s is said to come with a 24MP camera.

Elsewhere, the Galaxy M30s will reportedly come with an Exynos 9610/9611 processor. Samsung is likely to launch the Galaxy M30s in India at a price in between Rs 15,000 and Rs 20,000 – in line with the punch-hole toting Galaxy M40.

The Galaxy M30s clearly seems to be some sort of upgrade to the Galaxy M30 – and not necessarily a true-blue successor. The Galaxy M30 which was launched in India at a starting price of Rs 14,990 comes with a 6.4-inch Infinity-U Super AMOLED display with a 1080p+ resolution, an Exynos 7904 processor with up to 6GB RAM and up to 128GB storage, a 5,000mAh battery with 15W USB Type-C fast charging support, and Android 8.1 Oreo-based Samsung Experience 9.5 UI (now upgradable to Android Pie). The Galaxy M30 further comes with three rear cameras -- a 13MP primary sensor with f/1.9 aperture, a 5MP depth sensor and another 5MP ultra-wide sensor with 123-degree field of view. On the front, the Galaxy M30 comes with a 16MP camera.
