Samsung’s Galaxy S10, the next-gen premium Galaxy S variant and an apparent successor to the current-gen Galaxy S9 could now be launched sooner than expected, as early as February 20. This is rumoured to be the global launch of the smartphone.
Now, as per a Gizmodo UK report, the Samsung Galaxy S10 could be launched in an exclusive “Unpacked: event slated to be held before the Mobile World Congress (MWC 2019) in Barcelona takes place. Also, the Galaxy S10 is speculated to get a March 8 release date; preceded by pre-orders from the date of its launching. Along with these, it is also believed by Samsung loyalists that there would be as many as 3 editions of the Galaxy S10 next-gen smartphone.
As for the technical specifications of the purported Galaxy S10, rumour mills are already rife about the newest Infinity-O display making its presence felt on the handset. At this juncture, it is worth noting that the recent Galaxy A8s smartphone features the Infinity-O display. This technicality eliminates the notch-pattern design that had become almost a standard on recent smartphones.
Once launched, Samsung loyalists could check out the three Galaxy S10 variants which are speculated to be based on internal storage capabilities. These are 1TB, 512GB, and 128GB respectively; with price-tags varying for each variant. At this juncture, it only becomes imminent to ponder about the next-gen 5G wireless standard being incorporated within the Galaxy S10; this could be a real remote possibility considering the fact that 5G’s commercial operations is estimated to begin only by the second half of 2019; and going by the above rumours, the Samsung Galaxy S10’s apparent February 20 release date does not synchronize with that of 5G making its presence felt within Samsung’s premium smartphone.
Finally, all of the purported Samsung Galaxy S10 variants are rumoured to feature tripe cameras; though the camera-specific details are yet to surface at this point in time. Hence, you could share insights on the “potential features” you expect to see offered by the Galaxy S10s; once these are official.
