The Samsung Galaxy Fold which has just gone official at the Unpacked event in San Francisco comes with a whopping six cameras. Now, if you manage to lay your hands on the smartphone, you would find three rear cameras, a single front snapper, along with two on the inner part.

Now, this assembly of cameras is seemingly a first for as far as modern smartphones are concerned. The Galaxy Fold is set to also be commercially made available for purchase very soon. USP of this  6 camera arrangement is that you could use the Fold in any manner you want and still have a camera at your disposal thus eliminating the hassles of having to mandatorily open up the smartphone to use the camera.

This arrangement should also let the device be used as a compact tablet, hence potentially posing competition to the conventional tabs; once the former starts selling.

To help power the 6-camera arrangement, the Galaxy Fold runs on dual batteries and incorporates Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC with 12GB RAM on board. The smartphone is set to be priced at a whopping $1980 (Rs 1,40,000 approx.) and it would be made available in select markets for now
