Security Patches, Updates For Realme C1, Realme 2 Pro, Realme U1, And More To Seed From End Of February

If you are a Realme user, then there is good news for you as the February 2019 security update/patch officially has release dates. The rollout of the most expected security patches for Realme smartphones would take place during the end of February 2019.

If you are a user of the Realme C1 2019, Realme C1, Realme 2 Pro, Realme 2, and the Realme U1, do check out the security update from the end of February 2019. Confirming this development, Madhav Sheth who is CEO at RealmeMobiles has tweeted out the details, and as per these, the security patches would seed form the end of February 2019. These updates include the likes of a bootloader feature, fingerprint shutter in tandem with the conventional security fixes.

In related Realme updates, the Realme C1 2019 that has a starting price of Rs 7500 (for a 2GB variant in tandem with 32GB internal storage) went up for grabs in a flash sale on Flipkart on February 12 at 12 PM IST. Now, at this juncture,  it is not known as to how many units were sold and the number of units offered in the most recent flash sale, but the undeniable USP of the Realme C1 2019 is its offering of key technical aspects such as a 6.2-inch display and octa-core Snapdragon 450 octa-core processor; along with a three camera assembly (2 rear + 1 front).

The new Realme C1’s 4230 mAh Lithium-Ion battery also appears impressive on paper. Also, the Realme series of smartphones, compete directly with Xiaomi’s smartphones range. In the Indian smartphone segment, in which multiple verticals are dominated by the likes of Xiaomi and OnePlus - which are both Chinese smartphone brands, Realme’s entry could make it an all Chinese smartphone war vying for the attention of buyers in India.
