Vodafone has now seemingly increased the data offering in one of its unlimited prepaid recharge scheme. This package now offers 1.5GB of daily data. This updated Vodafone prepaid recharge scheme is the Rs 509 offering.

If you are a Vodafone prepaid subscriber, then the telco’s Rs 509 prepaid package offers unlimited + free voice calling in addition to 1.5GB LTE, 3G data. Prior to the latest revision, the Rs 509 pack offered 1GB daily data.

For starters, Vodafone’s Rs 509 plan is valid for 90 days which makes it a semi-long validity plan. These comparatively-long and long validity prepaid recharge schemes are relevant in the current telecom scenario considering the fact that subscribers are saved from the hassles of monthly recharges (irrespective of these even being for a nominal amount as low as Rs 35).

Also, long validity (along with semi-long validity plans) offering multiple benefits viz unlimited voice calling, daily data, free text messages, and even a caller tune (by some telcos) make sense in the long run as far as prepaid subscription is concerned.

Now, the Vodafone Rs 509 prepaid recharge offering does not compete with those of any of the other Indian telcos. The recharge scheme is currently active in multiple Vodafone telecom circles; it could differ for some circles with respect to recharge tariffs.

Vodafone’s Rs 509 plan - updated, is currently reflecting on the official eRecharge portal; subscribers could check out the MyVodafone application as well. Finally, the Vodafone Rs 509 plan that is now updated, could potentially lead to more updates from the telco especially considering that it is now called Vodafone-Idea. At the end of the day, the subscriber alone is the king! Don’t you think so?
