A new Redmi X smartphone could be in the launch pipeline and this device is also intensely speculated by rumour mills to compete with yet another purported device – the Realme X. Now, existence of the latter is seemingly only in rumours and concepts, but in the case of the former it is being claimed that the handset would be launched on 14 May by rumours.
Now, as per Chinese tipsters, there would be a Redmi X with a triple rear camera and images of the purported handset have also surfaced. At this point in time, Redmi is yet to officially announce details pertaining to Redmi X – but speculations have been high over a period, now.
The above tipster has taken to Chinese social networking site Weibo (translated) to share what is rumoured to be the Redmi X smartphone. Gauging, what appears to be images of the rumoured Redmi X, the device depicted comes with a notchless display. Other key technical specifications of this handset are even yet to surface as of now.
Nonetheless, it indeed makes sense for Redmi to come out with a new mid-ranger considering the fact that in countries like India Oppo-spinoff brand Realme has been making the right noises with its own set of smartphones that are seemingly affordable to own considering the key technical specifications that these offer. The latest of such Realme smartphones is the Realme 3 Pro that is priced at Rs 13999.
As far as Redmi is concerned, the brand’s Redmi Note 7 Pro has also been striking chords but is seemingly difficult to procure in the online flash sales which have witnessed excessive demands leading to sell-out of the units in a matter of seconds.
