  • Earth Day 2019 needs committment from netizens
  • Google is seemingly leadng the way now, as far as Earth Day 2019 is concerned

With Today marking Earth Day 2019, even search engine giant Google has shown its softer side by creating a custom Earth Day doodle with a message to at least lead the way when it comes to motivating netizens to do their bit for the planet. With its Earth Day doodle, Google has also showcased the wandering albatross seabird that is said to be capable enough of flying continuously – for at least a few hundred miles, without flapping its wings during this period.

Google’s Earth Day 2019 doodle also highlights other “unknowns”

If you have been surprised by the above albatross seabird, then there are more surprises in store as the Google Earth Day doodle also highlights the coastal redwood tree that stands at a staggering 377 feet tall. This is the world’s tallest tree, and is useful for your general knowledge – especially for the Amazon Quiz.

If you are desirous at knowing the smallest vertebrate walking the face of the earth, then this is the Paedophryne Amauensis (a toad-like creature).

The biggest surprise which we could discover, from Google’s doodle, is the Amazon Water Lily that offers enough room for a year-old baby to sit on it; not advised to try out though. USP of Google’s doodle is the fact that it reminds netizens of the 407 million years old Coelacanth fish.

There are other interesting biodiversity facts which netizens could check from Google’s Earth Day 2019 doodle as well. Click here to check out the Earth Day 2019 doodle, and showcase your commitment to save the planet – even if it means creating social media campaigns and petitioning governments across the world to initiate action to save the earth for future generations – even netizens, so that they could appreciate its beauty. Do share your thoughts on how you would contribute to save the earth. Ours is afforestation and creating campaigns for this on the internet to reach the concerned authority.
