When did Instagram 'influencing' become a dangerous profession? Recently Instagram influencers Jean and Camille who go by the username @BackpackDiariez posted a photo on their Instagram profile that sent the social media frequenters in a tizzy. The photo was captured while Jean and Camille were hanging out literally from a moving train in Sri Lanka and it has received more than 40,000 likes already.

It goes to show that such stunts may up your engagement on Instagram but while some fans commented favourably, many criticised Jean and Camille for risking their lives by clicking such a 'daredevil' photograph for Instagram and possibly 'influencing' others to do the same.

"Honestly, it's a beautiful picture but isn't this very dangerous? What if someone tries to copy it?" one user commented.

That's a valid point because many Instagram users said in the comments that they too will take a similar photo. And since the Instagram post received more than 40,000 likes, that kind of reach is enough to inspire many other attention-seeking Instagram users to pose for something similar.

"This is a beautiful photo, but are you trying to die young? Honestly, many travel bloggers have been killed recently a couple at The Grand Canyon," another user commented.

Last year, a 20-year-old engineering student in Maharashtra, Shubham Jadhav, was killed in a road accident in during a live Instagram video. In the video, Jadhav was driving a car at 120km per hour speed without wearing a seat belt. Now, this the extent to which the addiction to apps like Instagram has reached that people do not think twice before posing for photos and videos on social media apps.
