Ranthambore National Park, Rajasthan

You might feel the heat here, but it's one of the best places for kids. Ranthambore National Park is one of the biggest and most renowned national parks in Northern India, where you can enjoy the safari and watch wild animals and varieties of birds. Apart from safari, you can also Trinetra Ganesh Temple in the fort. It is the only temple in the world that houses the entire family of Lord Ganesha. His statue consists of three eyes.

Auroville, Pondicherry

Auroville is an experience itself as the city resides people from almost all the corners of the world. The purpose of Auroville is to realise human unity. Also known as the City of Dawn, this place is rich in diversity. If you visit this place with your kids it will make them more aware of the nature, principles and humanity. You can visit Matrimandir, or take up activities, which will help you in building your horizons.

Darjeeling, West Bengal

Situated in the Himalayan foothills, Darjeeling was once a summer resort of the British Raj elite as the temperature was favourable. Here kids can enjoy Darjeeling Himalayan Railway, also known as Toy Train which runs within the city. There is not one or two places but a whole city to explore.

Munnar, Kerala

This hill station is also one of the best vacation spots in summer as the town is situated in the Western Ghats mountain range in Kerala. Like Darjeeling, Munnar also served as a resort for the British Raj elite. Here, you can explore tea plantations and try authentic teas and Eravikulam National Park, a habitat for the endangered mountain goat Nilgiri tahr and is home to the Lakkam Waterfalls. You can also go hiking at Anamudi Peak.

From islands and beaches to heritage tours, here you can have memorable experiences with your kids. You can try water sports as well, such as snorkelling, jet ski riding, sea kart and more. Apart from these, shopping in Andaman is a one-of-a-kind experience.
