Goa

Of course, the topmost location had to be Goa. The 100-kilometer coastline is dotted with over 35 beaches. While some of the beaches are very quiet and serene, others house some of the best shacks and eateries. You will also see many beachside clubs. One can also indulge in adventure sports. Speed boat and banana boat rides, jet skiing, paragliding, waterskiing, water scooters, and much more. Many of these beaches have red hills of the Western Ghats in the backdrop, which makes the landscape look beautiful. There are 5 forts on top of these mountains – Aguada fort, Terekhol fort, Chapora fort, Cabo fort, and the Betul fort.

Puducherry

If you are a lover of quaint beaches, head to this coastal town. A fascinating, small town with enough elements to charm its visitors, Pondicherry was once the largest French colony in India. Along with beaches, it also houses some of the best bakeries and churches.
