Judge Cash Controversy: A stunning video from inside Justice Yashwant Varma’s house has been accessed. The video, from the night of the fire incident at his resident, shows officers wading through piles of large stashes of cash. The video, seems to establish conclusively that the sitting High Court judge’s home did have large stashes of hard cash. The video flies in the face of the desperate clumsy narrative being made - one that has witnessed wishy washy versions after versions from the fire department on the aspect of the presence of large amount of hard cash being unearthed from the home of the Judge. The video also raises serious questions on the decision of the Supreme Court collegium to have transferred the judge instead of taking a firmer view. Questions also arise, on who paid the money that was being burnt at Justice Yashwant Varma's home. Like top jurist Harish Salve told Republic, the "Caesar's wife should be above suspicion" and it is up to India's Supreme Court to come clean with all the facts. The facts should not just be put out but justice should also be seen to be done.
