El Salvador President Refuses to Send Back Wrongly Deported Man to US, Says 'Of Course, I'm Not Going to Do It'

El Salvador’s President Nayib Bukele said on Monday he had no intention of returning a man wrongly deported from the US, during his meeting with President Donald Trump at the White House. In the Oval Office, Trump commended Bukele for allowing El Salvador’s prison system to detain alleged gang members and others he plans to deport, adding that he would send as many undocumented individuals from the US to El Salvador as possible.
