Indian cricketer R Ashwin has revealed about another Indian Premier League (IPL) trade deal offered by Mumbai Indians to Punjab Kings when he was the captain of the latter from 2018 to 2019. Ashwin's statement, made on his YouTube channel, comes after Mumbai Indians brought back Hardik Pandya to their squad for IPL 2024. After a lot of drama, Hardik Pandya was traded to Mumbai Indians despite being retained by Gujarat Titans. Fans were confused after Gujarat retained Hardik Pandya in the IPL 2023 retentions but later it was confirmed that he will play for Mumbai. On November 28, the Indian Premier League officially confirmed the move.
