Diogo José Teixeira da Silva, widely known as Diogo Jota, tragically died at the age of 28 in a fatal car accident on July 3, 2025, in Cernadilla, Zamora, Spain. The crash happened in the early morning hours, reportedly due to a tire failure that led to the vehicle losing control and catching fire. Jota’s younger brother, André Silva, 26, also lost his life at the scene.
