India Women’s Team faces CRUSHING 58-run defeat to New Zealand in T20 World Cup opener

India Women's team has been beaten by a significant margin of 58 runs against New Zealand in their opening fixture in the Women's T20 World Cup , held at Dubai International Stadium in UAE, on Friday. Batting first, New Zealand put on a challenging total of 160/4. In reply, India lost the way early on and as a consequence of losing wickets at regular intervals, Harmanpreet Kaur-led side bundled out at 102. The 'White Ferns' also put an end to their 10-match losing streak with their biggest win against India in T20Is. On the other end, it wasn't the day for India. Following the culmination of the IND vs NZ match, India Women's captain Harmanpreet Kaur reflected on the performance and admitted that the team got outplayed on the day.
