A magnitude 5.7 earthquake was felt in Delhi, with a likely epicenter in Pakistan . 

According to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC), the earthquake had a magnitude of 5.7, with its epicentre located 61 kilometres southwest of Dera Ismail Khan, Pakistan . The quake was recorded at 12:28 pm local time, which is roughly 1 pm in India.

The earthquake sparked a wave of reactions on social media platform X. 

Netizens claimed that they felt tremors in Peshawar, Islamabad and Lahore in Pakistan, and New Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir in India.
