Mumbai Woman Alleges Harassment by Semi-Naked Man, Mumbai Police Take Cognisance

Mumbai: A woman has accused an unidentified man of harassing her in a shocking video that is now going viral on social media. 

The woman, who has requested anonymity, took to social media to share her ordeal, claiming it was the third such incident in the same location.

In her post, the woman described the harrowing experience, stating, “This man was seen misbehaving with his pants down calling out to me loudly in the middle of the street. This was at 8:55AM today. This is the 3rd time this has happened to me in this location, from different men. I urge you to increase the safety of this area as i have heard multiple women tell me similar stories in this location. I tried calling Nirbhaya squad but my call wasn’t answered. Please help.”

The incident has sparked outrage and concerns about women's safety in the city. The woman's plea for increased security in the area has echoed the sentiments of many who have shared similar experiences.

Responding to the allegations, the Mumbai Police has taken cognisance of the matter asking her contact details, ‘We have followed you. Please share your contact details in DM.’
