Viral Video: A video by an international student in Canada highlights the tough realities of finding part-time work. Nishat, in his search for a job for a month, documented his experience at a Tim Hortons job fair.

Nishat who is an Indian student in Toronto, and also a content creator shared the video showing the competition for part-time jobs among international students in Canada. 

In the viral video, there is a long queue of  Indian students lined up to get a part-time job outside a Tim Hortons outlet, which has gone viral and left people surprised at the situation.

"More than 100 students had already shown up for the job fair. Looking at the long line, even the white people nearby were shocked, thinking what the hell is happening here," he said.

After gathering resumes and discussing applicant schedules, Tim Hortons staff offered the possibility of future interview calls.The video showcases Nishat’s frustration and determination as he recounts his day. 

This viral video exemplifies the challenges international students face in Canada's part-time job market.

The video crossed a million views, and got several reactions. One user commented, “Learn construction, handyman, repair or driving trucks. Canada has demand for these jobs.” Another user wrote, “This is not the Canada I came to 8 years ago. It was full of opportunities, growth and what dreams are made of. I don’t even recognize this country anymore. Everyone had plenty of growth and employment opportunities. I found a part time job in 2 weeks while studying and the stories I hear now break my heart.”
