His post quickly gained massive attention, sparking a variety of reactions. Many users identified the snake as a golden tree snake (Chrysopelea ornata), a mildly venomous species commonly found in the region.
Netizens React
A horrified user wrote, “This is why I stick to store-bought ice cream.”
Another suggested the snake might have been an intentional ingredient: “It might be the main ingredient. The other bars are inedible because they are already finely ground.”
A third commenter jokingly advised the man to wait before eating it: “Don’t eat it yet. Wait for it to melt so it can be revived.”
“The first bite gets you hooked, the next puts you in a hospital bed,” another joked.
One user humorously pointed out the nutritional benefits: “At least you got more protein with your dessert.”
Another comment highlighted the importance of food safety: “This is why food safety regulations are so important.”
Despite the concern, netizens couldn’t resist reacting humorously to the bizarre incident.
