Elections Rigged? Authorities Look Into A Possibility

After Trump's alleged interference in Indian elections, authorities are looking into the possibility of a rigging

The foreign ministry statement comes after Trump cited information released by DOGE of $21Mn funding for “voters turnout”

“US Taxpayer dollars were going to be spent on the following items, all of which have been canceled.”, the post on X read.

“It (USAID) could have a role in Indian elections.”, Trump said.

The social media head of BJP, Amit Mlaviya has questioned the motives behind such foreign funding

“We have seen information put out by the US administration.”, said foreign ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal.

“This has lead to concerns about foreign interference in India's internal affairs.”, he added.

Jaiswal said the “Relevant department industries” are looking into it
