Australians, New Zealanders repatriated from Nepal

A chartered Nepal Airlines flight flew Australians, permanent residents and New Zealand nationals who were stranded in Nepal to Sydney on Wednesday.

The 281 passengers had been stranded in Nepal for weeks.

It was the second flight and most likely the last one for Australia since Nepal went on complete lockdown on March 24.

The lockdown expires on Thursday but will most likely to be extended by the government.
