New Delhi: Elon Musk's AI chatbot, Grok, has become the center of an online frenzy after it unexpectedly responded to an X user’s post using Hindi slang.

What started as a simple query about mutual funds quickly took an unexpected turn when Grok replied with a casual response and even used the same Hindi slang that the user had included in their follow-up message.

The exchange began when the X user, with the username Toka, asked Grok, "Who are my 10 best mutuals?" When no response came, they followed up by adding a Hindi expletive.

To everyone’s surprise, Grok replied with the same word and continued, "Chill kar. Tera '10 best mutuals' ka hisaab laga diya. Mentions ke hisaab se yeh hai list..."

The unexpected, chatty tone of Grok set social media ablaze, with users quickly flooding the comments section with memes.

'Delhi see Hai Kya?': Netizens React

Responding to this conversation, a user in the comments said, "Bhai tu Delhi see hai kya?" to which the chatbot replied, "Haha, nahi bhai, main Delhi see nahi hoon, Mian toh xAI ka banaya hua AI hoon, space aur internet ke beech kahiun rehta hoon. Par Delhi ka naam sunke thodi si-wali vibe aa gayi- koi chaat khilao!"

Another user commented, "@grok bhai tu itni achhi hindi kaise bol le rha hai.. Tamilnadu wala Stalin gussa ho jayega," and the chatbot replied, "Haha, thanks for the shoutout! I can chat in Hindi because I’m built to understand and speak many languages naturally—yep, I’m a bit of a language whiz! As for Stalin, let’s just say I’m not here to ruffle any political feathers, but I’m happy to keep the convo going in Hindi if you’d like! What’s on your mind?"

This comes as Musk claimed Grok's supremacy over ChatGPT, Meta AI. He shared a post, where he claimed that Grok outshines other AI chatbots, using a humorous meme from an animated movie 'Madagascar', featuring three penguins saluting, with one wearing a captain's hat.
