Weda: At least 172 passengers and crew members aboard a Super Air Jet flight on Monday narrowly escaped a mishap in Indonesia, after Super Air Jet flight number A 320 overran the runway while landing at the Weda Bay Airport. Sources claimed that the aircraft, while landing at the airport, went out of control and went beyond the runway on the muddy area. Fortunately, no one was injured during the incident, claimed the sources.

According to the reports, the incident took place on Monday evening amid the heavy rainfall in the city. It is being suspected that the aircraft couldn't stop in time on the runway due to heavy rain and unfavorable weather conditions, which resulted in a slippery runway.
