The back to back massive earthquakes in Myanmar and Bangkok have destroyed several buildings; rail, metro and flight services in Bangkok have been hit.

Bangkok: The massive 7.7 earthquake in Myanmar triggered a strong earthquake in Thailand capital Bangkok, and as a result of which, rail, metro and flight services have been hit. Departures and arrivals at the Bangkok airports have been closed down, in the fear of possible aftershocks.
A state of emergency has been declared in the Thai capital and several casualties are suspected after buildings collapsed due to the strong quake.
Bangkok Earthquake : Flight Services Hit, Airports Shut
As per the latest reports, the two major airports in Bangkok, namely, Suvarnabhuami and Don Mueang have been shut down and all passengers have been evacuated. The government has locked down the airports and all flights, to and from Bangkok have been suspended because aftershocks are feared.
Rail and Metro Affected, Subways Closed in Bangkok
Apart from the flight services, rail and metro services in Bangkok have also been hit following the massive earthquake. The subways across the city have been closed and as mentioned earlier, a state of emergency has also been declared.

Bangkok Tower Collapse: Many People Missing, Casualties Feared
Following a powerful 7.7-magnitude earthquake that struck Myanmar on Friday afternoon, footage has emerged showing the collapse of an under-construction building. Reports indicate that 390 workers were at the site when the building fell, with over 80 still missing.
While many people are feared dead, an official death toll is yet to be announced. Nerve-wrecking videos have surfaced on the internet, of buildings swaying, bridges collapsing and people scrambling from public spaces, to save themselves.

Powerful 7.7 Magnitude Earthquake Strikes Myanmar
The Bangkok Earthquake came after a 7.7 magnitude earthquake struck Myanmar, just 10 kilometers from Mandalay, causing significant damage to public property. Distraught locals have posted videos of the tremor on 'X' (formerly Twitter). The earthquake resulted in the collapse of the historic Ava Bridge over the Irrawaddy River in Mandalay, with distressing footage surfacing online.
