COVID-19: Worrisome rise in daily number of new cases in Spain

Spain's daily number of new COVID-19 cases has shot up, with almost 2,935 officially reported Thursday, compared with 1,690 on Wednesday.

It's the highest recorded amount of new infections in a 24 hour period since April.
