Armenia's military said its rockets shot down an Azerbaijani helicopter on Thursday, as well as aircraft and a drone, as heavy fighting in the separatist region of Nagorno-Karabakh entered its sixth day.
Meanwhile, the Azerbaijan military claimed to be advancing towards Fizuli and taking height around Madagiz, a village in the Tartar region of Azerbaijan controlled by Armenian forces.
Video footage from the Azerbaijan Defence Ministry showed what it said were attacks on Armenian military positions.
This week's fighting is the biggest escalation in years in the decades-long dispute over Nagorno-Karabakh, which is inside Azerbaijan but controlled by local ethnic Armenian forces backed by Armenia.
