EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell and German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas on Friday midday gave a joint press conference as the EU Foreign Ministers concluded their two-day meeting in Berlin.
The ministers discussed a number of issues, including sanctions on a number of high-level Belarussian individuals involved in the country's recent, allegedly fraudulent, elections.
Also on the table were potential responses to the fresh tensions between Greece and Turkey in the eastern Mediterranean and demands that Russia clear up the recent suspected poisoning of prominent Putin opponent Alexei Navalny.
Navalny is in an induced coma and being treated by German doctors in Berlin.
