Romania starts 1st round of AstraZeneca vaccination

Romania started deploying the AstraZeneca coronavirus vaccine on Monday.

They were distributed to 180 vaccination centers around the country.

200,000 doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine will be administered.

Romana has received 1.1 million COVID-19 vaccine doses so far.

About 700,000 people in the country have been vaccinated with one vaccine dose and more than 400,000 with two doses.

Romania has ranked third in the European Union for doses administered per 100 inhabitants.
