Thousands of Bosnian Muslims celebrated Eid on Thursday, marking the end of Ramadan, the Muslim holy month of fasting.

Restrictions remained in place, with protective masks worn and social distancing measures adhered to during prayers.

The number of people allowed to attend prayers indoors was limited and strict hygiene measures were put in place.

Bosnian Muslims traditionally celebrate Eid with their families.

The celebration of Eid in Bosnia lasts for three days and ends with a visit to the cemetery and a prayer for the dead.
