Aloo Baingan may never be ranked in your tiffin boxes, but it has found a place in the world’s worst 100 foods. An Instagram page named Tasteatlas has done a survey in which they have ranked Aloo Baingan at 60 with a rating of 2.7 out of five.

This chart was topped by Hákarl, which refers to fermented shark in English, and this dish belongs to Iceland. This dish consists of the Greenland shark or other sleeper shark and is cured with a particular process of fermentation and hung dry for four to five months.

The whole list of these 100 food items has listed the dishes from different countries like, Israel, Italy, Portugal and many others.

Well, many of us may agree with Aloo Baingan at 60 in the list of worst foods in the world, while others are opposing it. One user wrote, "I would prefer it over many dishes I have eaten (if made correctly, of course). Another one said, "Banane nehi aata hoga unhe (Maybe they can't make it properly)." The third one said, "Those who voted haven't had the actial aloo baingan. It's one of my favourites."

Apart from this, the ramen burger was rated the second worst dish on this list. There are some weird dishes also featured on the list, like chocolate-covered bacon.
