After three weeks of total lockdown, Dubai has eased some of its restrictions to enable people to travel around.

Some businesses have been allowed to re-open.

But the coronavirus measures that remain in place are still stringent - there's an overnight curfew from 10pm to 6am.

Public transport has started running again, but passengers on the Dubai Metro have to wear face masks and maintain a suitable distance from each other.

The United Arab Emirates, of which Dubai is part, has reported 9,813 virus cases and 71 deaths.

For most people, the new coronavirus causes mild or moderate symptoms, such as fever and cough that clear up in two to three weeks.

For some, especially older adults and people with existing health problems, it can cause more severe illness.
