The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) director-general said on Monday the agency was 'engaging' with Iran in trying to clarify a number of issues surrounding the Iran nuclear deal alongside other matters.

Rafael Grossi told a news conference in Vienna that "work with Iran cannot stop quite clearly."

He added "there are a number of things that have to do as you know with the implementation of the JCPOA (Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action) on the one hand, and also there are other more permanent safeguards obligations that the Islamic Republic has."

Grossi told reporters that implementing the JCPOA was a "two way street" and that his agency still hadn't received a "complete assessment of what is going on" that would satisfy the UN nuclear watchdog.

Grossi is expected to meet with the head of Iran's nuclear program Ali Akbar Salehi this week for the first time.
