Thousands march supporting Scottish independence

Thousands of people marched in Glasgow on Saturday in support of Scottish independence.

In December's UK general election, the independence-minded Scottish National Party (SNP) and its leader Nicola Sturgeon surged to a commanding position in Scotland.

It gained 13 seats and now holds 48 of the 59 Scotland-based seats in the British Parliament.
