Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg, among other prominent figures, has commented on the 'Howdy, Modi!' which is Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s upcoming event in Houston. Zuckerberg said that he deeply appreciates PM Modi’s commitment to Digital India.

Many prominent persons spoke about the event
Mark Zuckerberg was one of the many prominent personalities to have commented on the event. Apart from him, CEO of Microsoft Cooperation, Satya Nadella said that India has world-class entrepreneurs and human capital. He also said that the vision of the Prime Minister was spot on.
Paul Jacobs, former Executive Chairman of Qualcomm also took the opportunity to speak about it. He said, "We share Prime Minister @narendramodi 's vision to transform India into a digitally empowered society and knowledge economy." #HowdyModi

What is Howdy Modi?
Howdy Modi is a community summit which is being hosted by Texas India Forum (TIF) for Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on September 22 at the NRG Stadium in Houston. It is expected to be a grand event where Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be addressing about 50,000 Indian-Americans.

The event happens to be one of the many major foreign events that PM Modi has been a part of, during his term. The event website mentions that the crowd turnout is expected to be the largest for any Indian Prime Minister and for a democratically elected foreign leader in the country. According to the website, preparations for the show are going on in full swing. The grand event is also expected to be attended by hundreds of prominent business and community leaders from across America.
Texas India Forum (TIF), with the help of more than 1,000 volunteers, is organising a community summit for PM Modi.TIF has also confirmed that over 650 community organisations have already signed up to be 'welcome partners' for the program. The official event page also says that the event is all sold out. It is also mentioned that the live audience will be the largest gathering for an invited foreign leader visiting the country, apart from the Pope.

Additionally, the enthusiasm of the people is clearly visible through the huge digital billboards on major highways across Houston welcoming Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Indian flags can also be seen fluttering outside their homes ahead of PM Modi’s arrival for the mega diaspora event.
