Hundreds of people protested in Buenos Aires on Tuesday against the death of George Floyd in the United States.

Demonstrators marched along main streets to settle in front of the American Chamber of Commerce in central Buenos Aires.

Organizers said that causes of the protest in the US are shared by South America.

The killing of Floyd has led to protests in many countries and across the US.

The protest defied Argentina's mandatory lockdown to prevent the spread of the coronavirus that is in place since March 20th.

Floyd died on May 25 after a police officer pressed his knee into his neck for several minutes even after he stopped moving and pleading for air.

Global outrage over what happened to Floyd has kindled frustrations across borders and continents.
