New Delhi: US President Donald Trump ’s recent post on his Truth Social platform, which shows an AI-generated video titled “Trump Gaza,” has sparked a storm of reactions across social media. The video, created by artificial intelligence, presents a “futuristic vision” of Gaza following the ongoing conflict with Israel, transforming the region into a glittering city with golden statues of Trump, towering skyscrapers and even scenes of Elon Musk walking amidst a shower of cash.

The video begins with a flash of the title “Gaza 2025, What next?” before showing a devastated cityscape, likely a reference to the war-torn state of Gaza.

As the video progresses, futuristic scenes unfold, complete with luxurious golden Trump statues, an AI-generated song singing Trump’s praises, and a reimagined Gaza filled with modern infrastructure and luxury.

Musk is prominently featured, enjoying a lavish lifestyle while a child carries a balloon bearing Trump’s face. "Trump Gaza" is emblazoned on the side of the AI-rendered buildings.

Netizens React to Post-war ‘Trump Gaza’

However, social media’s reaction to this video has been highly polarized. Supporters of the president have lauded his bold vision, while critics have labeled the post disrespectful, with some questioning its sincerity.

One user humorously asked, "You want to turn Detroit into a Trump-themed resort?" while another added, "Trump should really look at stuff before he posts it." Others pointed out the satire in the video, with one person suggesting it was “his way of pushing the Arab nations to do something.”

On the flip side, some found the video to be entertaining yet bizarre. “This is so disrespectful and hilarious,” said one user.

“I think this was posted in jest, but I can't say I agree with it. We should have nothing to do with Gaza or that part of the world whatsoever,” remarked another.

Others saw a more hopeful side of the video, with one user commenting, “Imagine a life this wonderful and beautiful with no killing, I think the Palestinian people would love this.”

Not everyone was amused, though. “Gonna be honest, this is kind of weird,” said another user, while others commented on the strangeness of such a vision amidst ongoing humanitarian struggles in Gaza, where over 48,000 lives have been lost, according to the Gaza Health Ministry.

The video comes amid a tense ceasefire agreement between Israel and Gaza, following months of war that have devastated both sides.

Some social media users still believe Trump is keeping them guessing about his intentions, with one person stating, “Never let them know your next move,” while another added, “The future is, at the very least, extremely interesting.”
